Beer Collaboration with Drekker Brewing + Npsas

In 2015, we hosted our first event, a community potluck, at Drekker Brewing. A year later, we hosted our first birthday party in Drekker’s downtown taproom. Over the next several years, we hosted multiple events with Drekker’s support - so when they approached us in late 2018 and suggested a collaborative beer, the answer was a resounding YES.

“Brewed of the North” is a hazy Ancient Grain IPA featuring grains grown by farmer members of the Northern Plains Sustainable Agriculture Society. The ancient grains include Ceres & Dylan hard red spring wheat and Einkorn, which make up 30% of the grains in the beer.  The beer hops are lemon drop, hallertau blanc and mosaic.

We're excited to release this light, refreshing and easy-to-drink IPA on Friday, January 25th at Drekker’s Brewhalla! Mark your calendar for the release party and stay tuned for more details.

Brewed of the North will be available on tap at Drekker and in can while supplies last. It will also be available for purchase at the 2019 Northern Plains Food & Farming Conference (January 24 – 26, 2019) in Fargo, ND.
